  I was stumped for ideas on a team building activity I was trying to plan for work, and came across Tall Order when searching for some inspiration online. Let me tell you, I couldn't be happier to have come across Tall Order's page! Julie and her team were an absolute pleasure to work with - they were extremely responsive and accommodating throughout the planning process, leading up to the day of the team building event which was a BLAST! Everything from the icebreaker (which had some of us almost on the floor rolling around in laughter) to the food prep, making and eating was perfect. I would highly, highly recommend Tall Order to anyone - whether you're looking for something fun to do for a party, work function or...just in general with friends or family! Julie and her team made sure to take lots of photos of us in action, and they also made sure to send us the full recipes of all the delicious food we cooked that day! All in all, my team and I had a phenomenal day, thanks to Julie and her crew! We will absolutely be back again, and I have already told all of my work and friends about this so they too can take their friends, family and teams to Julie and Tall Order for some fun (and seriously delicious food)!

  My team had an off-site planning session and we booked Tall Order for our team building activity. I have to say that this is the best team building activity I've been to so far. We were a group of 20 and we were split into groups (preparing different courses). Julie and Desiree were fun facilitators and it was a great bonding activity for me and my team. I don't cook much and have almost to no experience cooking but Julie's program made it very easy to prepare the food. We had Spring rolls,chicken breast with pesto and prosciutto, salad, mashed potatoes and delicious macaroons dipped in chocolate. Julie also did a great job at ensuring that all our dietary restrictions were taken care of. As an organizer of the event for my team, I've gotten great feedback from my team about their experience. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a stress-free, fun and delicious team building event.

  I hosted a group of visiting colleagues for a workshop and decided to organize a team building event for them and the rest of my team members. I decided on the "Too Many Cooks" session. Julie was very organized and arranged all the activities. All I had to do was show up with my colleagues. She is very accommodating and great to work with. Even though some of the team members do not have experience preparing food, everyone had lots of fun making tapas under Julie's guidance. I would definitely recommend this for anyone looking to do something different for a team building event.

  The staff and I completed the "Wine Blending Challenge" and had a blast.

  Julie and her team put together a fantastic evening of fun and team building in a top notch professional kitchen. The goal of the evening was to bring a varied group of professionals from within the same organization together to mingle, bond and create a delicious dinner.

From the moment we all entered the kitchen, the stage was set for what was to be a fantastically FUN night of culinary delights as well as a chance to get to know colleagues outside of the office environment. With us all wearing our chef's hats and explaining to each other what food describes us as a person, we all had a tremendous time chopping, dicing and cooking our various dishes for our feast.

Julie's creative and exuberent nature comes through on all levels as she mingles and encourages the groups to communicate and have fun while rolling up their sleeves and becoming involved in the entire cooking process!

This not only was a fun, fabulous night with colleagues but turned into the ultimate 'kitchen party'!!

I'd highly recommend Tall Order for any corporate or social function! Julie and her team are FANASTIC and easy to work with!!

  After 2 years of working from home and 75% of our work team started during the pandemic we were delighted to regroup and engage into this fun team building event.
The icebreaker was a great way to learn about us and team mates and actually take a step into verbalizing personal wishes not related to work. This ended up being a great way to engage into conversations while we cook and eat later on.
The recipes were delicious, simple but also challenging because we didn't have actual ingredient measurements we had guidelines but there was a lot of room for brainstorming together, allocate tasks and offer help where needed to deliver a great table full of food.
Julie and Susan were great guides and I would recommend this event to any teams, new or old there is always something you can learn from your coworkers.
Booking was simple and quick, multiple different locations to pick from.
